The Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program (SAOP) serves survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner and domestic violence, human trafficking, and stalking across Southeast Ohio. We provide free, confidential support to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and identities, as well as co-survivors (friends, family, and caregivers) who are supporting a loved one. We also partner with social service agencies, businesses, and educational institutions to create trauma-informed communities that support healing and prevention efforts.
Children who experience sexual abuse, domestic violence, or stalking need specialized care to heal and regain a sense of safety. SAOP offers advocacy, crisis intervention, and service coordination for children and their non-offending caregivers. We also provide transportation for forensic medical exams and work closely with child advocacy centers. Learn More About Resources for Children >
